By mixing one teaspoon of gelatin (Knox gelatin you can find easily in the baking aisle) with 3 teaspoons of milk, you obtain a homogeneous paste which should be put in microwave for approximately 10 seconds ( if you have to use a stove, use the double boiler methods with a bowl on top of a pan of water), after which mix it, and immediately apply it on the face.

Leave it on the area where the blackheads are predominant for approximately 15 minutes until it dries and tightens up on the skin, and then peel it off. This is a simple and easy solution for getting rid of the unpleasant and unaesthetic blackheads which are no reason for any health issues, but are a result of pollution, environmental causes, an unhealthy diet or excess sebum. Use it, and you will see spectacular results.

Honey and lemon are  great combination in this case.

Dark pores on the legs – no longer an issue! One of the most frequent issues which women encounter is the one with the black spots on the legs. This not so pleasant problem occurs after a long use of the razor blade in order to shave the legs. The black spots show up when the hair, either thicker or darker, did not manage to go through the epidermis.

The first advice, in order to get rid of them, is to change your shaving method, because some times, the hair grown under the skin can lead to an infection. Here are 3 homemade remedies for dark pores on the legs:

  1. By using 2 table spoons of honey, half of grated apple, 1 grated carrot, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 table spoon of lemon juice you obtain a mixed paste to which you can also add an yolk (it contributes to the skin regeneration). Apply the mixture on the legs and leave it for 10 minutes following which, by using a small wet, cotton made towel, rub it off gently, in circular moves. This way the skin gets cleared, and hydrated.
  2. Honey and lemon are again a great combination in this case! Mix them together until you get a paste, and apply it on the legs. Leave it for 20 minutes, and then wash it off. You will notice considerable results following multiple applications in time.
  3. By using coffee grounds mixed up with warm water, use it to massage the legs gently for 15 minutes, after which wash off the coffee grounds using warn (not hot!) water. After you’re dried up, apply olive oil on the leg in order to hydrate the skin.
